You may recall I blogged about cervical health back in January – I’d been doing research into the HPV vaccine because of the the decision I had to make about my own daughter receiving the vaccine.  Here’s some very interesting new information coming out of Japan regarding the HPV vaccine.

Japan’s health ministry has issued a nation-wide notice to suspended recommending 12 – 16 year old girls receive the HPV vaccines, due to reported adverse reactions.  Apparently they are still giving the vaccine to those who want it but are not making the recommendation until more information about the reactions is known.
